Caribe Express – 2023 Aquila (36′)

Caribe Express is our premium charter experience—a 36’ Aquila power catamaran designed for guests wanting a more elevated and comfortable day on the water.

With air conditioning, an onboard restroom, spacious seating, and a smooth ride, it’s the ideal boat for full-day island adventures, sunset cruises, and special occasions. The larger catamaran layout gives everyone room to spread out and relax while cruising between the islands.

This luxury experience is fully customizable and departs from St. Thomas or St. John. Spend the day snorkeling with sea turtles, stopping at Lime Out or Pizza Pi, relaxing at Lovango Cay, or exploring the British Virgin Islands in comfort (availability beginning November, 2026).

Drinks, snacks, snorkel gear, floaties, and a friendly local crew are all included, making Caribe Express the easiest way to enjoy the islands without worrying about the details.

*Fuel is not included in the charter cost and will be billed based on usage at current pump rates.

We’re licensed for up to 12 guests on Caribe Express (36′ Power Catamaran). The base charter cost covers up to six passengers, with each additional passenger incurring an additional $100 fee.

We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook (St. Thomas) and the National Park Visitor Center in Cruz Bay (St. John).

Gratuity is never expected, but always appreciated! If you had a great time out on the water, a standard tip is around 20% of the charter price. Your captain puts in a lot of work behind the scenes—planning your day, checking weather and sea conditions, prepping the boat, and making sure everything runs smoothly—often starting days in advance. A tip is a great way to say thanks for all the effort that goes into making your trip unforgettable.

Absolutely—we welcome cruise ship guests all the time! However, please note that we do not offer pick-up from the cruise port, and all guests will need to take a taxi to our departure point at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook (St. Thomas). We recommend allowing plenty of time to get there comfortably.

While our half-day charters can work for many cruise schedules, we encourage booking a full-day charter when possible—it gives you more time, more flexibility, and a more relaxed experience during your visit to the islands.

Yes — Caribe Express has a private onboard restroom, which makes longer days on the water much more comfortable for families, couples, and groups spending the day island hopping.

Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance are fully refundable. If the weather forces us to cancel, you’ll get a full refund or the option to reschedule—your call.

Island weather can change fast! A passing shower usually isn’t a problem, but if the captain determines it’s unsafe to head out, we’ll reschedule or refund you—your safety comes first.

A little breeze is part of island life, but we always adjust our route to make the ride as smooth and enjoyable as possible. If it’s too rough, we’ll talk through options with you.

Yes — Caribe Express is a luxury experience. We provide bottled water, soft drinks, beer, champagne, liquor, cocktails, ice, snacks, and a fresh veggie & hummus board. Many guests also choose to stop at places like Lime Out, Lovango Cay, or Pizza Pi for lunch during the trip – purchases at these places are the guests’ responsibility.

Just bring swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, and anything else you’d like for the day. We’ll handle the coolers, ice, drinks, snorkel gear, floaties, and the rest. If you have a favorite drink or snack you’d like onboard, feel free to bring it along too.

Absolutely! We’ve got snorkel gear, floats, and pool noodles available for you to use—and we’ll take you to some of the best spots around.
